Band Cards - Membership
The Munsee Delaware Nation Administration Office issues Certificate of Indian Status cards.
Eligibility for membership services provided by the office is that the person is entitled to be registered or is registered as a Band Member of the Munsee Delaware Nation.
It is important to register your child within their first year, as they will only be covered under the mother or father’s number during that first year.
Note: Cards for minors expire every (3) years. Please check your status cards to ensure the card is up to date.

Certificate of Indian Status
Certificates of Indian Status cards (CIS) may be obtained at the Munsee Delaware Nation Administration office. Please call to schedule an appointment.
Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC) requires original documentation to complete application initiated through the Administration Office. Children 15 years of age and under or dependent adults will need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Both parties must present ONE piece of photo identification.
Please remember to bring TWO pieces of photo identification:
- driver’s licence
- Canadian passport
- employee identification card
- Guarantor form
- Indian Status Card
- Provincial health card
- Provincial ID card
- Student ID card
